Our Faith

The Bible is the only divinely inspired inerrant Word of God. It is the final authority on all matters of faith and practice.
There is but one true and living God. He has manifested Himself to us in three ways; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
Man is by nature sinful, rebellious, and deserving of death and hell.
All men need to be saved (made right with God), and this salvation comes only by confession and repentance of sin through a personal faith in Jesus Christ alone.
The mandate of the church is to evangelize, baptize, minister, and discipline.
We support the "Baptist Faith and Message" adopted in 2000 as our basic statement of faith.
We support the autonomy of the local congregation.
We express a strong commitment to evangelism on the local, state, national, and worldwide levels.
We support the historical Biblical views on moral and doctrinal issues such as, but not limited to: the sanctity of human life, sinfulness of immorality whether heterosexual or homosexual, destructiveness of gambling in any form, total abstinence from the sale or use of mind altering drugs, including alcohol, the assurance of the believer, salvation by grace not by works, and the ordination of men only to serve as pastors or deacons.
